The Goalkeeper Academy will be conducted by USA Assistant Coach, Brian Diaz. The academy will focus on all technical, tactical, and mental aspects of goalkeeping. Goalkeepers will work in conjunction with the Field Player Academy to utilize game situations for tactical learning. Goalkeepers will be challenged through drills focusing on technique in catching, diving, and footwork. The academy will provide a high-level training experience that the goalkeeper may use for future training.
